Anupam Mishra has become a sort of villain for his idiotic act. He is an IAS officer of Kerala cadre. His villainous act is something that should not be forgiven in these times of global health crisis.

Anupam was asked to go for mandatory home quarantine by the collector of Kollam district. He is the sub collector of this district. He had also given his consent. However, he slipped the very next day to Bengaluru and from there to Kanpur, UP. He might have put hundreds of innocent people to danger in this process.

Biography and Wiki of Anupam Mishra

Anupam was born and brought up in a village in Sultanpur. After completing schooling from Lucknow, he had taken admission in an engineering college in Tamil Nadu. He has done B. Tech. and M. Tech. from Anna Universisty.

He had cracked UPSC Civil Services Examination two times – first in 2014 with All India Rank of 574 and second in 2015 with All India Rank of 81. He was allotted IAS in his second rank with Kerala cadre.

There is absolutely no doubt that Anupam has achieved success while fighting all odds. He belongs to a lower middle class family. His mother – Kavita Mishra – is a teacher in a government primary school while his father – Ramkrishna Mishra – is a part time priest earning close to null. Apart from Anupam, the family has also raised one more son and two daughters. In this context, his idiotic behavior has raised eyebrows to people.

Anupam Mishra had gotten married only in February this year. He had applied for leave for honeymoon after marriage. His leave was pre-approved and he had gone to Singapore. The couple had returned only on 19^th March. His wife had also cracked UPSC CSE in 2015.

One more thing that is little bit painful is the way Anupam decided to continue with his honeymoon. Yes, he had official approved leave for the same. But, when Kerala and India was fighting CoVid – 19 pandemic, he should have aborted his honeymoon. He might not have committed any crime, but he has definitely committed a moral crime by not returning. And, by fleeing from quarantine, he has done something that should be punished.
