-         Dr. Beela and Rajesh had tied the knot in 1992. That was a love – cum – arrange marriage. The couple had to work hard to persuade family of Rajesh Das. 

-         Dr. Beela and Rajesh Das have two daughters.

-         Dr. Beela Rajesh was first allotted Bihar Cadre in IAS. Post – bifurcation, she had preferred Jharkhand. Her request for cadre transfer to Tamil Nadu on the ground of marriage was turned down by CAT. She had to take the battle to the High Court of Madras where the Court had directed the concerned authority to transfer her cadre on the ground of marriage. 

-         Dr. Beela Rajesh comes from a very rich family. It is because of this fact that she had not mentioned her caste in UPSC application. She could have selected BC with Creamy Layer. But, she had preferred to fill the form as a General Category candidate. That was a mistake as she was not allowed the insider quota of BC in Tamil Nadu.
