Somadas is an Indian playback singer and stage performer. He is known for giving voice to some of the most poetic and popular Malayalam songs in the recent times. Recently, he has gotten high media attention because of his presence in Malayalam Bigg Boss 2.

Somadas was born in Chathanoor, Kerala. He was a brilliant student since his school days and was dreaming of becoming an IAS officer. However, his intention and career goal changed since the first year of college. At that time, he started to sing on stage and was getting popular demand for more performances. His appearance in the Idea Star Singing competition in 2008 changed everything and since then he had become popular throughout Kerala.

At that time, Somadas came in contact with film actor K. Mani who helped him to make an entry into the Malayalam film industry. He sang for many successful Malayalam movies.

Somadas has completed schooling from St. Joseph’s Convent School, Kollam and has done graduation from S. N. College, Kollam.

Family and Wife of Somadas

Somadas had gotten married to Surya, a charming lady. That was year 2005. Somadas was not a star at that point of time. Few years later, when stardom struck him, he was a completely changed person. He couldn’t avoid contact with teen girls. When Surya started to enquire about his extramarital relationships, he was getting irritated and abusive. The couple had two kids. However, the marriage couldn’t sustain. Somadas had gotten captivity of both of his daughters.

In Bigg Boss 2, Somadas accused Surya of taking money to let children stay with him. Surya issued a video statement and denied any such thing calling Somadas a mean and pervert person.
