News and Recognition: Delhi Police has arrested Safoora on 13th April under draconian act UAPA. She has been alleged to be the mastermind of organizing of anti CAA protest at Jafrabad Metro Station in North East Delhi. The Police considers this protest as the starting point of February riots.

Safoora is part of the core member of a group which has planned and executed nationwide protests against CAA. The violence in Delhi was started from Jamia, and Safoora was allegedly directly involved in that. She has also been alleged by a Muslim girl for misbehavior.

-         Safoora was three months pregnant when she was arrested by Delhi Police. She has been kept in the Solitary confinement. As per Delhi Police sources, she had not said anything about her pregnancy when police had detained her. It may also not be possible for her to get bail just because of this pregnancy. There isn't as such any provision. However, she has been targeted by tolls of over social media for being pregnant. Nothing can be more obnoxious and ridiculous than this.
