Justice Tripathi was quite close to Nitish Kumar. He was appointed as the Additional Advocate General of Bihar by Nitish Kumar. Few months later, he was promoted as a judge in the Patna High Court in 2006.
Before breathing his last, he was on ventilator for around one month. In fact, his condition started to deteriorate within three days of the test result for COVID – 19.
